The Anthon UMC Choir is directed by Shirley Nelson. The Anthon UMC Choir is open to teens and adults who wish to express their love of God and devotion to the church through the use of their musical gifts. We practice on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. During most of the year, the choir sings at nearly every church service. Additionally we sing at nursing homes in the area occasionally, and participate in a three-choir "Songfest" with the Rock Branch and Correctionville United Methodist Churches one time each year. We are also looking for interested musicians with an eye towards a small praise-type band to enhance our worship services. If you are interested, please let our Choir Director or Pastor know.
